Video Teaching | Cain vs. Abel: What is Your Sacrifice?

Hey everyone!! So as you can see, the Heart of Worship Blog has gotten a huge revamp and a fresh new look!

At the end of 2018, God placed on my heart to take this blog to another level. One of the things He placed on my heart to begin doing is videos. So here we are with the very first video teaching!

Be sure to follow the new official Heart Of Worship Blog Facebook page for daily encouragement, announcements and notifications for live videos.

I did a live teaching this week (on May 22, 2019) via Facebook Live on the topic of “Cain vs. Abel: What is Your Sacrifice?” Nowadays we want to serve God without ever giving up our old life, laying anything down, or sacrificing anything for Jesus. But if you study God’s word, you know that living for Jesus means laying down your life and presenting your body as a living sacrifice.

In this teaching, I talk about the difference between Cain’s offering to God and Abel’s offering to God. One offering required a death/sacrifice, the other did not.

This is a powerful and convicting teaching that I believe will shift many people to a higher place in their relationship with God.

Grab your bible, you will be blessed!

Bible verses covered:

  • Genesis 4:1-10
  • John 14:6
  • John 6:28-29
  • Matthew 16:24-26
  • Romans 12:1-2
  • Romans 8:14
  • Galatians 2:20
  • John 6:52-59
  • Philippians 3:12-14
  • Joshua 24:15

  1. Hi Deborah,
My name is Kisha. I really appreciate you and your husband’s ministry (I’ve read his blog posts) and you guys are awesome! I pray that God continues to use you guys for His glory.

And just a few days ago I was reading the beginning of Genesis and came across the Cain and Abel story. I had to go back and study it again after that live video 🙂

    Keep doing God’s work!
