I’m sure a lot of us can agree that we live in a time where everyone says they are a Christian, everyone goes to church, everyone believes in Jesus, and everyone thinks they are going to heaven. The sad reality is many of the people who call themselves Christians really are not. Many people who profess Christ do not live what they profess; the life they live completely contradicts who they say they are. Things have gotten so bad that it’s almost expected for Christians to somewhat look like the world. There is almost no standard for Christians to be set apart from the world or to really live as the Word of God has mandated us to live. There’s been such a watering down of what Christianity is really supposed to be to the point that we have profaned the name of Christ among unbelievers.
But thank God for the remnant! Thank God for those who know that holiness is a requirement! Thank God for those who know that Christ set the standard for what Christ-ians are supposed to look like, be like, and live like. And thank God that this remnant will uphold Christ’s standard and challenge those who are not upholding the standard to do so as well.
What does Integrity by Design mean?
Integrity – adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. The state of being whole, entire, or undiminished. Sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition.
Design – to conceive and plan out in the mind; to have as a purpose — intend; to devise for a specific function or end.
Integrity By Design means that God designed us to be men and women of INTEGRITY, this was His intention all along when He called each of us. God never intended for Christians to look like the world. He designed His children to be honest, upright, virtuous, honorable, undivided, whole, sound, sincere, and loyal when it comes to our faith. He meant for us to live out our faith FAITHFULLY in every area of our lives and in every arena that we find ourselves. He designed us to be SET APART – this was His original blueprint for His children. Genesis 1:26 says “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” This image was not the physical image of God, it was His nature and character that He wanted to mirror in us. God originally designed us to be godly as He is, but that image was tainted when the first man sinned. Thank God that He had a plan all along, even after the fall of man! That plan was to send Jesus Christ to pay the penalty of sin for us, to be an example to us of what God looks like (His nature), and to give us His Holy Spirit so that we can now mirror the image of God once again. If we claim to be sons and daughters of God and if we claim to have His Spirit then God EXPECTS us to die to ourselves, conform to His image and represent Him on the earth. Being a Christian is not about what God is going to give us, it’s not about “living our best life now,” it’s not about God making us comfortable and fulfilling all our dreams, it’s not about Him making us famous, rich, or Him giving us a husband or wife. Being a Christian is about giving up our old life, our old ways, old thinking, our will, and desires; it’s about taking up the cross of Christ, and allowing Him to give us a new mind so that we can be ambassadors of His Kingdom on the earth by winning souls to Him. It’s about being HIS Kingdom on the earth, not using Him to establish our Kingdom.
Being a Christian also isn’t about just going to church on Sundays and checking off “Christian” when you are asked what religion you associate with. To believe in Christ is to live like Christ. If we don’t look like Him (through daily surrender) then we are not Christians. If we don’t have His Spirit, then we don’t truly belong to Him (Romans 8:9). And it is His Spirit that marks us as His and allows us to live godly, it’s not about perfection, it’s about surrender and allowing God to perfect/mature us daily. This is the hard truth that many people who claim to be Christians have either never been taught or refuse to accept.
Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking you can be a Christian and still live any kind of way. We don’t want to close our eyes for the last time then hear God say to us “I never knew you;” we have time to get it right while we still have breath in our bodies. How is the world supposed to see Christ if those that say they have Christ within them don’t carry His image? Unbelievers will not see Christ in anyone else other than in the sons and daughters of God. WE have been commissioned to bring heaven on earth, to be His Kingdom on the earth, and to occupy until He returns; but to do this we have to live what we say we believe.
What is Integrity by Design?
So this is the exciting part! Around the end of 2015/beginning of 2016, God placed on my heart to start a business called INTEGRITY BY DESIGN™. This business is about exactly what I stated above. It’s a call and challenge to believers to live what they say they believe. Not every Christian is living contrary to their faith, but it’s clear, in today’s society, that many are. I strongly believe that The Father is crying out for His children who claim to carry His name to live out what they profess. If we ever needed to rise up in holiness, righteousness, and boldness of faith, now is the time! This business will sell custom designed products that help get this very message out. Our products, such as apparel, will be a reminder to our customers and other believers around them to live what they believe. On our website, we will share blog posts and eventually testimonies to encourage our customers to rise to this call. Our theme verse is 2 Corinthians 8:21, which says, “For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.” We are called to live right before God and before man.
I believe that when we truly live for Christ in public AND in private, then we can be all the more effective in winning other souls to Christ. If every person who calls themselves a Christian actually lived like one, the world would be a much better place. I believe that Christ is coming back soon, and He is raising up His sons and daughter to sound the alarm to awaken a sleeping church out of deep slumber and extend life to a dying world.
Launch Day!
Join me on this new journey! Today, October 30, 2017, is the official launch date of INTEGRITY BY DESIGN™! Check out the website at https://integritybydesigninc.com/. Find our debut products, read up on our vision, mission, and oath, and follow us on social media. I’ve also added a new tab above that says “SHOP” which will take you directly to the website from this blog.
Please keep my husband and I in prayer as we embark on this new journey. Starting this business has been over a year in the making. We faced a few challenges along the way, but God has graciously allowed us to begin this new thing according to His will and we are grateful and ready for whatever is up ahead.
P.S.: If you read this blog post and felt convicted because you know that you’re not living out your faith with integrity, it’s never too late to get it right. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but the grace of God is available to you to help you to live according to His truth. Repent (change your direction from living worldly/lukewarm to living for God), surrender your will to God, get in the word to find out God’s truth, and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to live for Him. God loves you and He does not want to see you continue down the wrong path. ❤
Beautiful! You are such an inspiration! Definitely an example of someone who walks in integrity! 💕

As Jesus said, The Father seeks those who will worship Him in “Spirit and truth”…That is what the Father seeks….For worship to be genuine this absolutely must be…Worship of course is not just what we do in church on sunday , but it is a life that is lived every day in public as well as alone before the Father…..Our lives are a “living sacrifice”, lovingly we offer our whole selves in loving response to the grace and mercy of God shown to us in Christ Jesus…We do this worship with thankfulness, joy, and integrity…all to His glory ….We worship in the life giving Spirit, and this Spirit is agreement with His live giving Word..All through .Christ Jesus our Lord ….
